Eater NY Features The Wilson in Chelsea restaurant the Wilson debuts a fancy menu for dogs

All-day Chelsea restaurant the Wilson has debuted a new menu — except it’s only for dogs. The dog food was put together by culinary director Jeff Haskell and includes fancy (and wildly expensive) dishes like a 16-ounce grilled ribeye steak ($42), pan-roasted salmon ($28), and grilled chicken breast ($16). It’ll be available on the restaurant’s side patio for now, but will expand to the front terrace once the weather is warmer. See the full menu below.

Dinning room at Cleo

Your Weekend Plans Features Cleo in Their Roundup For The Week

Cleo: Cleo, located on Park Ave and East 30th Street inside The Mondrian Hotel, is a great, modern, upscale Mediterranean spot to head to on a Saturday night. The main bar is a fun hangout spot within itself – located at the very front of the restaurant with plenty of seating and a wide variety of cocktails to choose from! We tried a whole bunch of delicious food, including the hummus, zucchini chips, and Greek salad to start. The pita bread that comes with the hummus was extra doughy, which we really appreciated. Next up, we went for the chicken kebabs, brussel sprouts and saffron rice. The brussel sprouts with hazelnuts, orange, fresno chili, cilantro, and soy sherry vin were the winner by far …. until we got to dessert. Don’t leave without trying the sticky toffee pudding which comes with butterscotch, walnut tuile, and vanilla gelato. The chocolate cake underneath the ice cream came out smoking hot, with actual steam released as we cut into our first bite! We must note that the service was also extra outstanding, from great recommendations on what to order, to making sure our wine glass was always perfectly full. Thanks, Cleo, for making us feel like Cleopatra ;).

Forbes Features The Wilson in New York City Restaurant Adds Special Menu For Dogs

New York City Restaurant Adds Special Menu For Dogs

New York City dining is going to the dogs. At least, at one mutt-friendly Manhattan restaurant.

The Wilson, a contemporary American restaurant in Chelsea, is inviting pampered pups to dine alongside their owners to enjoy its first-ever dog menu. Inspired by Culinary Director Jeff Haskell’s cooking for his own dog, these puppy-friendly dishes can be shared between pets and humans, though the latter can can also order off a more extensive, less pet-friendly menu as well.

The Wilson’s first dog menu includes a 16 oz grilled ribeye steak with  grilled baby vegetables and steak jus ($42), pan roasted true north salmon with steamed vegetables and lemon ($28), grilled chicken breast with baby vegetables ($16) and lighter sides like a bowl of sliced apples and heirloom carrots ($11) or a bowl of mixed berries ($14).

The Wilson is located at 132 West 27th Street and open seven days a week. Reservations are available by emailing reservations@igchospitality.com and letting them know you’re interested in the Dog Menu. Seating is limited in the dog-friendly area of the venue,  available on a first-come-first-serve basis, year-round.

Uproxx Features Refinery Rooftop in Bartenders Tell Us The Best Gins For National Gin And Tonic Day

Alli Torres, Bartender at Refinery Rooftop in New York City

“My favorite gin to work with right now is a local one from New York Distilling Co; Dorothy Parker. It has some fun botanicals that really pop when mixed with a strong tonic. Highlighting the elderberries and cinnamon in the recipe, I like to use Q-Indian Tonic with a cracked cinnamon stick and a slice of pear in my Gin & Tonics. It’s so clean and delicious, it doesn’t need much to showcase the flavors.”
